Nothing is more precious that a family member who is also a friend and confident. Gilles is Jean-Jacques's brother. They look alike, don’t they?
Even though Jean-Jacques and Gilles were close brothers, it’s important to know that Gilles was, before anything else, a loyal friend. During the past few years, life’s major challenges came our way—and Gilles was always there.
Gilles was always the first to help as we endured difficult times. Unconditionally and without asking any questions, he helped us in more ways than anyone could have imagined.
We are so happy that he finally found the love of his life, Marie-Ève, his charming partner, who is standing right beside me here.
On June 22, 2015, my daughter, Mélissa, got married to her boyfriend of eight years, Philippe.
It was a beautiful wedding, filled with love, tenderness and simplicity. All of their many friends came and it was a joyous occasion.
When we took this picture, we didn’t know that Mélissa was nine weeks pregnant. Even Philippe didn’t know!
...but he was starting to suspect something was up.
