The people he loved and who loved him back
Mélissa is an unique person and an adventurer. When she was little, she dreamed about becoming a lawyer. At only 21 years old, she was hired at a major law firm in Montréal. Many people think that she got her sense of justice from Jean-Jacques, but he always answered she developed that quality on her own.
Last year, she gave birth to her first child, Océane. Our grand-daughter is our ray of sunshine. Her big, curious eyes make us literally melt.
He was so proud of his daughter and everything she has accomplished so far.

Jean-Jacques was not just my brother; he was my best friend. I don’t know how many times I was able to count on him when I was going through some tough spells. It’s hard for me to describe how important he was for me and my partner, Diane. I am nevertheless going to keep a few secrets about everything he did for me.
A few years before he passed away, Jean-Jacques retired after having spent decades helping other people. He developed new hobbies, including gardening. I was so happy that he was able to die peacefully.
